US software company Diligent creating over 200 new jobs in Galway

Diligent, a leading modern governance company have announced they are establishing a European hub in Galway, creating 200 new jobs.

The company which was founded in 1994, currently has around 19,000 client companies across the world. Diligent works with some of the largest public governing bodies which includes over 50% of the companies ranked on the Fortune 1000.

The 200 new roles will be across several business functions including customer support, finance, HR and marketing.

The investment is supported through IDA Ireland and the jobs are to be filled in the coming months.

Chief Executive of Diligent Brian Stafford said:

Everybody wants to make sure that boards are properly governed, and we provide the software to make sure that happens.

Our platform allows companies to confidentially share material with their boards and to take care of the broader governance workflow, such as meeting minutes, conflicts of interest, voting approvals, evaluations and so on.

CEO of IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan, welcomed the announcement of the new jobs.
