As Director for Recruitment Services at Servisource, I bring 16 years of experience in healthcare recruitment and workforce strategy. Since joining Servisource in 2009 as Healthcare Division Manager, I have led teams across all HSE geographical areas and hospital groups, focusing on delivering exceptional service and consistently high agency fill rates. Servisource developed Zapp, an efficient, innovative time and attendance solution offering a complete service for rostering/booking agency staff efficiently within the healthcare sector in Ireland. Used by the HSE, and several leading hospitals, it champions electronic records management for agency healthcare workers.  Zapp aids our communications, shift planning, invoicing, activity reporting to facilitate candidate and HSE access, allowing us to source from our extensive database, with access to over 1,100 temporary staff nationwide.  

A multi award winning invoicing and shift scheduling app giving both our Clients and Candidates access to our self-booking platform ensuring transparency and real-time visibility of shift schedules. Through Zapp, Servisource can rapidly mobilise agency nurses and midwives to facilitate cover for sick leave, self-isolation, weekends, within 0-24 hours of requests.​

AI-driven coaching tools provide real-time feedback, helping new clinicians and support workers learn best practice techniques faster. This approach also empowers non-specialist workers in task-sharing programmes, enabling them to provide high-quality mental health support under professional supervision.

Algorithms can monitor digital behaviours to identify early warning signs, allowing faster triage and intervention. These solutions reduce clinician workload while maintaining quality standards.

It is helping Servisource optimise the delivery of care, ensuring patients receive timely and effective support. Our AI scheduling systems connect clinicians to patient needs right away. This cuts waiting times and makes services more efficient.

These tools also help balance staff workloads, supporting clinician wellbeing and reducing burnout. This significantly reduces the administrative burden on clinicians, allowing them to spend more time with patients. AI algorithms can also detect patterns or warning signs in patient data, helping to identify individuals at risk earlier and intervene sooner.
