The National Public Health Emergency Team has made the recommendation to the Irish government that the entire country should move to Level 5 restrictions.

Level 5 restrictions is the highest level of restrictions in the Government’s Covid-19 roadmap.
The three coalition party leaders are to meet with returning Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tony Holohan today to discuss the NPHET recommendation.
There was a further 365 more confirmed cases yesterday and no new deaths. There has now been a total of 38,032 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ireland and 1,810 deaths.
