Servisource Recruitment Virtual Jobs and Career Fair on Facebook


Throughout 2014 Servisource Recruitment successfully ran a nationwide Jobs and Career Fair taking in many locations such as Dublin, Dundalk, Drogheda, Newry, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Tullamore, Limerick, Sligo, Waterford and the UK. Each event offered the general public access to FREE CV Tips, Interview Tips, Motivational Tips, Using Social Media sites to find employment and advice on Preparing Your On-line Profiles for Job Searching Plus access to apply for Roles and Healthcare Training that Servisource Recruitment & Healthcare currently had available. With such a fantastic turnout at each event we were given the opportunity to survey attendees on what they feel would make it a better experience for them and how we could improve on our offering. A common topic of feedback we received was that it wasn’t always possible for candidates to travel to our chosen jobs fair locations with many stating travel costs and working commitments as the reason. Taking all of the feedback on board this year we have decided that along with the physical jobs fair we would also offer our candidates the option of visiting a virtual jobs and career fair. After discussing and analysing our candidates on-line activity we came to the decision that Facebook was the perfect option for hosting this virtual jobs and career event. Our main thoughts were to make attendance to the event as easy as possible so that people could login from any location on any device whether desktop, tablet or mobile phone. Given the popularity and ease of use of Facebook we feel it is the perfect fit for our very first online jobs and career fair event.

On Wednesday 28th January from 8am to 8pm we are turning the Servisource Recruitment Facebook page into a virtual jobs and career fair. Anyone wishing to attend simply has to login to Facebook and visit the Servisource Recruitment Facebook page. On arrival you will immediately be able to speak to an experienced recruiter in the booth of your choice. Booth 1 will be for all Healthcare jobs and will be staffed by Karen Melia. Booth 2 will be for all Home Care jobs and will be staffed by Jenny McShane. Booth 3 will be for all other roles and will be staffed by Catherine Dorian. With over 100 jobs and many more being added to our jobs board on a daily basis we are sure that we can help you find the perfect job. From graduate to experienced professionals we have roles to match your experience level.
