HIQA is recruiting a Technical Project Lead – Health Information for its Health Information and Standards Directorate.
Technical Project Lead-Health Information who will be key in progressing the technical aspects of the Health Information team’s core programme of work within HIQA. This will include ongoing work on the development of an EU-mandated national health dataset catalogue and the progression of HIQA’s review programme to assess the compliance of data holders with national standards related to health information. The role will require technical expertise across the following areas:
– Metadata specifications and key vocabularies

– Collaborating with business analysts, domain experts and other stakeholders to translate user stories, business requirements and use cases into functional and technical specifications

HIQA is recruiting a Executive Officer – Registration for its Regulation Directorate.
The Executive Officer – Registration will work as part of the Registration Team within the Regulation Directorate to support the work of the Directorate. The remit of this role encompasses administrative duties, project support, internal and external stakeholder engagement, and the execution of quality activities specific to the work of the Registration Team. The Executive Officer – Registration will also support the Registration Programme Coordinator in the line management of Clerical Officers including task allocation, training delivery and solution identification.

HIQA is recruiting an Inspector Healthcare Services for its Healthcare Directorate.
The role of an Inspector Healthcare involves monitoring public hospitals, maternity hospitals, rehabilitation and community inpatient hospital services and private hospitals. The inspector will participate in the programme of regulation and the assessment of compliance with legislation and national standards up to and including enforcement/escalation activity as required. The inspector will work as part of a team to carry out all regulatory activities in accordance with HIQA’s policies, processes and procedures to determine compliance with legislation and national standards, report publicly on findings and respond appropriately when service providers do not meet requirements.
