Interested in supporting students with disabilities in 3rd level education in Castlebar?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate person to support a group of students on campus.
In this role, you will have the incredible opportunity to providing support to the students with disabilities, assisting with academic tasks, note taking, navigating campus life, and promoting independence.
Have a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes the student's social integration and emotional well-being.
We need you to be:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with the student.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and campus environment.
Have a Level 7/8 degree or equivalent in any field.
This role is expected to be Monday - Thursday 10am - 4pm during the academic year only.
