What you or your colleagues eat plays a huge part in yours or their health throughout the Flu season. A body is essentially made out of the foods which it consumes. If you consume unhealthy foods, you will have an unhealthy body. Unhealthy bodies are not equipped to fight off illnesses like the flu, its simple.
You need to encourage your colleagues to stay away from processed foods. If it was made in a lab or factory then it should stay in the lab or factory, you do not want it in your body! Focus on your diet and try to encourage your colleagues to focus their diet on things that grew out of the earth. Fresh fruits and vegetables are key.

Echinacea fights microorganisms including viruses like the flu. Echinacea does not act directly on the virus itself but rather stimulates the immune system to fight the virus. It raises the white blood cell count and increases the body’s inherent powers of resistance.

Garlic may be known to ward off vampires, but it can also ward off colds and flu. Garlic contains the immune-boosting compound, also known to relieve cold and flu symptoms. Chop or crush 1-2 gloves of fresh garlic and “steep” them in hot water; then, drink it like a tea. This may also help others keep their distance from you.

Known to have many properties that can help keep you in tip-top health – and therefore better prepared to ward off cold and flu bugs. 2-3 per day are often recommended.

Honey
Known to boost the immune system. A daily dose of honey can help you to feel energetic and stay healthy. It also has antibacterial properties; if you do develop a sore or scratchy throat, honey will soothe and help heal. Use it in your tea, coffee, plain hot water or by itself.
Lemons
Loaded with vitamin C, which is known to support the body’s natural defences. Lemon (and lime) juice is reported to decrease the strength of the cold and flu virus in the body and reduce phlegm. Add lemon juice to your tea or make hot or cold lemonade with honey to stay well, build resistance to cold and flu, and speed up healing .
