Description

Myhomecare.ie, Ireland’s trusted homecare service provider, seek to employ a client care co ordinator to cover their West region. This position will be based in the Dundalk office.

This exciting position, within an international organisation, will allow you to draw on your experience of the Home Care sector to provide care recipients in their homes with adequate monitoring and supervision on behalf of myhomecare.ie

We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic professionals who demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation while displaying flexibility and ability to adapt to change to join our team.

Overall Objective:
The successful applicant will have strong administration and rostering experience. They will be capable of managing all aspects of day to day operations, take responsibility and accountability, possess excellent communication skills and dedicated to providing the highest quality of home care to those most in need.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Ensuring that the highest quality of care is delivered to our clients;
Assisting with client and staffing issues;
Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered to;
Be compliant with internal operational audit procedures;
Development and maintenance of key client relationships
Prepare and present status reports and presentations as needed;
Manage area billing and accounts receivable;
Assisting with caregiver recruitment and scheduling where required;
Participating in the development and marketing of the company;
Communicating client and caregiver concerns or problems with directors or other staff members as appropriate;
Organisation of office administration;
Preparation of weekly management reports;
Assisting and supporting the Client Care Managers in their roles;
Ensuring all shifts are covered and adequate relief care available;
Ad hoc duties as required;
Applicants will be pro-active individuals with strong communication, negotiation, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment;

Have demonstrated good commercial and business acumen;
Understanding of clinical systems implementation methodologies, process reengineering and change management;
Solid verbal and written communication skills;
Preferred background in nursing, social work or other ancillary services;
ECDL and comfortable in an IT rich environment;

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently and have the ability to work under pressure. Candidates are required to have excellent interpersonal skills in addition to the ability to work independently and manage your own time. The ideal candidate will have a clinical/qualified nursing background in the care sector, with relevant qualifications, & is computer literate with high level organisation & prioritisation skills. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate. The role is full time, and will be based at our West Regional office. Interested applicants should have a relevant health/social care or nursing background and must have care of the elderly experience and staff management experience
